Somewhere in Dixie, 1908.
I've added a faux early-film effect to this, but it's me playing a ragtime banjo tune from the early 1900's.
I know ragtime isn't really jazz, but I thought I would throw this in. It certainly is an intergral part of the evolution of American music that led to Jazz.
